Akpodiete Foundation Empowers Udu LGA Residents with Health Insurance Cards



The Olotu and Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete Foundation recently marked its 7th anniversary by distributing over 100 health insurance cards to beneficiaries across Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. The distribution took place at the Ubogo community Town Hall.
The Executive Director of the foundation, Dr. Olotu Akpodiete JP, expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency,Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his healthcare policy, which aims to improve the well-being of Deltans. He also commended the Director General of Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, for effectively implementing the Governor’s more agenda.
Dr. Akpodiete noted that many Deltans are still unaware of the benefits of medical health insurance and encouraged everyone to take advantage of this healthcare policy. He emphasized the importance of healthcare and the need for all Deltans to key into the program.
Dr. Oke Ikolo, a resource person at the event, enlightened the beneficiaries on how to utilize their health insurance cards, ensuring they get the most out of the program.

Evang David Siloko praised the Executive Director for this initiative, describing it as a great gesture to the people of Udu LGA. Chief Sunday Tialobi, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude and offered prayers for the Governor and the Executive Director of the foundation.
This gesture by the Akpodiete Foundation underscores its commitment to improving the lives of Deltans, particularly in the area of healthcare.
